A health and wellness communication initiative built for us, by us.
Black Doctors Speak is a flagship initiative of the African American Wellness Project. This new communication project was built for us, by us and is in response to the healthcare delivery inequities that exist between African Americans and the rest of America--while also giving a voice to Black Doctors, who are often left out of the important discussion on healthcare issues facing Black America.
With a resource rich website, the ability to directly engage with us via social media, and the weekly Black Doctors Speak Podcast, we aim to educate, inspire, and advocate for the African American community.
Hosted by Dr. Michael LeNoir, a past president of the National Medical Association, The Black Doctors Speak Podcast will highlight the healthcare issues that disproportionately affect the African American community and those of other minority communities at a higher prevalence and severity, while also providing special guest commentary, and action steps to help us heal.
